So Bob….Youre saying this buildup between Jan 2008 and Jan 2009…..Based on this chart, you're saying this particular buildup is due to Obama….who wasn't president until Jan 20,2009? Thats what I'm having issues reading?

What I provided showed the buildup within the years themselves, which showed it went up from ~30k in Jan 2009 and 2009 ended with ~65k.

Here's one from Feb 2009, where Obama announced 17k more troops on top of the 38k that were already there.

You guys need to get it through your head that I will do my research and make sure my numbers are accurate before presenting to the group. I'm built to not pass on wrong data. That sloppy work is something Doog Bot, our resident Economics PHD student lol, takes pride in, not me.

I'm happy to be wrong, but I'm not. All available data out there, and news articles mentioning that data, show that Obama ramped it all up in Feb 2009.
Can you post a link to that chart and not a screenshot? Would like to understand why your screenshot differs from all other data that is out there.
