A cop who did EXACTLY what department policy required him to do and what he was trained to do is in prison for murder of a guy dying of an overdose just to appease people burning the country down. Fucking ridiculous!

He may have been more susceptible to stressors but that doesn't change the cause of death, cardiopulmonary arrest from law enforcement subdual, restraint, and neck compression. That has never changed. The fentanyl is not relevant. That is spin and deflection.
Put it this way… What you are essentially arguing is that the little old lady didn't die from force. No no. The little old lady died because she was old, on beta blockers, and that old cunt was slated to die at that moment anyway. That's the Sledog spin cycle you're trying to push. Just because someone is more vulnerable is not a hall pass for when your excessive use of force kills someone.
Debate all you want about whether he deserved to die, it's a good riddance, etc. I might even agree with you, but the cause of death, cardiopulmonary arrest, was because of the force applied to him by police. It wasn't a wild coincidence that his cardiopulmonary system exploded after having knees on his neck compressing airways and arteries for 9 minutes. It's not even a debate. You can accept this and still have all your same viewpoints about protocol, injustice with the trial, etc.
