His journey is definitely the strangest in a long time. The Maryland webpage for him says "Chose Maryland over Missouri, Syracuse, Temple and Syracuse" which is Brian Kelly special.
At the very least, he provides depth and can help push Faasolo at LT.

My first impression was that it was a grades thing in that he would have failed out of Maryland and went back to JC to get his coursework in order (shrug).
