I don't know… I mean I fucking hate the activist-types and think they have their head up their ass 99% of the time but is all this shit on campus really that bad or that different from any of the other dumb student protests that have taken place on campus from the 60s onward? I'm an MD(not "medical doctor' but millennial doog you fuck heads) so I don't really remember what shit was like on college campuses pre year 2000 but I can't imagine this group of activists is uniquely stupid in history. I'm assuming it's just more of the same stupid shit that college students have been doing for time immemorial but I could be wrong.
@RaceBannon should weigh in on what campus politics were like in the 40s and 50s.

Fox news zombies are the only ones who talk about "woke". They love their trigger language. Yes, there are sometimes ridiculous excesses in the pursuit of trying to right old wrongs. But much of what the right hates now is what used to be simply called taking the feelings of other people into consideration when you act or speak. Which used to be respected in our country. If you really want to make America great again, you return to the much more liberal political period of Eisenhower and Nixon than the right-wing psycho hatefest of today.

The protests are a small part of it. It's been building for decades.
Protests are fine from either side. When I went there in the early 2000s, it was almost exclusively liberal causes, but they had some respect in how they went about it. Now it's everywhere. It's definitely a pervasive thing on most campuses, except for Liberty and Oral Roberts.
Kate Starboard, the lying Covid 1984 studies, pressuring professors to go along with ridiculous, leftist, virtue signaling proclamations…the list is deep. I'm not a right winger, you can ask the Tug addicts. TITTT but I didn't start the thread.
