I don't like the media ball licking of the SEC, but I find myself flipping to CBS quite often during the season. Hardnosed football and lots of talent in that conference. I'll watch that over some bullshit passing offenses (Hi Harv!) any day.
Hating on the SEC is doogish to the extreme. They've won 7 of the last 8 championships, or something along those lines. ESPN didn't win all those fucking games for them.
Simple fucking fact. Case fucking closed. End of fucking discussion.
This is true, and the offenses in that conference are starting to catch up. The games are now watchable to me.
There is no arguing they have been the best for quite awhile, but I had a hard time turning on a game that the score is 9-3 in the 4th and nobody is able to complete a forward pass or make a first down.

Their d lines are really good....of the top 2-3 teams. Besides that, where's the huge difference? Bammer and Florida had some really talented teams with really outstanding coaches for about 5 or 6 years. So? Miami Was a bad Testaverde gayme and a bad call against Notre Dame in 1988 from winning SEVEN NC'S IN NINE YEARS. Nebraska won 3 out of 4 in the nineties. Oklahoma used to kill teams in the 50s. It's not like this is going to last. It's already falling apart. Now Rural Meyer is up north and Bammer came back to earth. Besides those two teams, there really isn't much difference. LSU Won the title with two losses one year. Auburn rode scam Newton.
My problem is guys like Paul Finebaum, Herbstreit, and some idiot on Fox who said six SEC teams were better than Ohio St. All the hyperbole and hype over Johnny Faggot, aTm ( maybe the 4th or 5th best team?), South Carolina (they've never won shit) gets old after five seconds.
