I remember this guy. ESPN used to show some sumo events back when they had only two channels, and before people thought it was interesting to watch cornhole tournaments.
I know you don't give a shit but he was the very first gaijin (foreigner) to reach the highest rank in Sumo. Locally, he is / was a pretty big deal.
