Quoting @EwaDawg because fuck vanilla and their too many characters bullshit:
“Because he claimed it was against his religious beliefs but had ZERO affiliation with any type of religious entity or even any kind of history of a religious train of thought. It ain't rocket science.”
That’s the beauty of the first amendment. It doesn’t fucking matter what you think about his religious beliefs. The fact that people even had to consider lying about religious beliefs in order to avoid being fired for not taking experimental medical treatment is fucking insane.
Still, I feel bad, even though there are tools like Puckett and Moore who are given 15 hours a week to spew their Coug nonsense. It shouldn't be like this. College sports are circling the drain.
It's going to get steadily worse for the cougs. The summer "Apple Cup" will just be vestigial, a yearly lopsided wipeout and eventually people will lose interest (after we? get over the Fish hard takeoff on rebuilding, or next coach, that is)
The Networks and therefore conferences decided that Coug and Beav are regional schools that need to be treated the same as Colorado State.
Yes their fans have been crying for awhile that this spells in the end of college football, but it's really just that Fox and ESPN said "we're not paying this much for this and we aren't paying UCF to go fly out to Moscow fucking airport or whatever it's called."
I'd rather play them twice a year versus Purdue and Rutgers. I suppose the MLB and the NFL did okay with two Atlanta teams in the "West," as well as the Reds, and the Cardinals in the "East," but college sports are more regional. Either way it's FS.
Purdue is not good now, but in the wider swath of history they are a solid Big-10 team, almost always second to UM and tOSU, not as good but respectable. They get into it in W. Lafayette and the rivalry with Notre Dame is ugly. Rutgers is usually bad.

The statists take their cheap shots and then run and hide when they have to back those insane positions. As predictable as the sun rising in the east.

Fuhrer Inslee lied.
Fuhrer Inslee continues to lie.
Fuhrer Inslee’s lies degrade your civil liberties and unalienable rights by the minute.
Where is the outrage? Don’t choke on his pecker.
