Glad Obama recognizes the Ferguson situation

"I know that emotions are raw right now in Ferguson," President Obama said at a news conference early this afternoon. "There is never excuse for violence against the police or for those who would use this tragedy as a cover for vandalism or looting. There is also no excuse for police to use excessive force against peaceful protests or to throw protesters in jail for lawfully exercising their First Amendment rights."

Great talking out both sides of your mouth as always. Hopefully Hawaii with Michelle is on the calendar soon so he can clear his mind.

    Highlights:

    - This is a BAD situation

    - People shouldn't use violence against police

    - Police shouldn't use violence against the people

    - We need to gather with our loved ones and

    - We should comfort each other and talk with one another in a way that heals, not in a way that wounds. Along with our prayers, that’s what Michael and his family, and our broader American community, deserve.

Also my mistake about Hawaii. He took time off to speak about this from a vacation in Martha's vineyard.

We need to have a national dialogue on these issues.

Must be tough to walk the line between defending the police state and actually growing a spine.

He went with the wet water approach. I'm against violence and stealing, too.

He spoke out regarding the Trayvon case, but that shooting wasn't carried out by law enforcement. What gives?

What's his handicap down to these days?

I think he is against the war but supports the troops

I know you are being sarcastic, but I wouldn't fight a war against police armed with full auto weapons, tanks, drones, and kevlar vests.

Maybe there is a reason for that. Obey and survive.

The 2nd amendment is silly anyways.
