If you don't know, Jim Sochor was the man. Bill Walsh consulted with him and tried to hire him away from Davis. Sochor simply liked coaching Davis and doing his thing.

Yup, Carroll (NFL Version) looks for a certain guy with characteristics and abilities and then coaches them up. Also, always positive. Very similar philosophy.
