This was probably my favorite recruit in the last class and I was not happy when he entered the portal so this is great news. I think Holmes is a very Buddha Baker-like safety prospect. He's not big but really covers ground and looked like a reliable tackler in his highlights.
Him along with Waters coming back makes me feel a lot better.
Maybe one of them can beef up and play OL.

Russell Davis Tr. Jr. next year; Appeared in 11 games on the defensive line during second season with Arizona...16 total tackles including, 5.5 tackles for loss, 3.5 sacks... Last spring he was 6'3" 230lbs with the goal of playing at 240 lbs, so he is a pure pass/edge/OLB/Rusher type.
