Partially true. We are poor because of the decade of loser football we had, the stadium, and our half share. All are fixable. We will never have Phil knight but will be able to spend enough to win big. Buying high school kids is retarded and not a good use of funds.

I wouldn't lose too much sleep over this one. The guy never appeared to really consider UW, even during the last two years run (huh?) and left the region to go to a high school program known for in recent history producing overrated prospects (except UW's 2025 QB commit).

Recruiting has always been a sketchy shitty game but up until a handful of years ago there was some logic to it. Most recruits seemed to get their offers, take some time, and then pick schools which usually made sense and there was a healthy amount of regionalism (which is one of the lifebloods of college football).
