I don't know the ins and outs of Huffman stalking this kid's friends and family, but multiple doogs on Twitter were insinuating that he already committed.

The two OL at Arizona, one drafted first round last year, one projected top 2 rounds this year, were good not great prospects out of HS. If Carrol hadn’t already done it I would be skeptical of his evaluations, recruiting and development. He’s got a track record with prospects like this though. He struck out on 5 of 7 players he would have had no shot with at Arizona. The late kids he’s bringing right now are P12, Arizona level recruits. I’m okay with this, I trust CBC.

Damn near every OL prospect is a project regardless of how highly ranked they are. I think that position is more about coaching and development than any other. Carroll has proven he can do that. I’m glad he’s starting to stack bodies at the position. I wasn’t happy with just 3. 4 or 5 each year is a must.

Absolutely

Top 10 WR Andrew Marsh is apparently visiting right now. I think it's his 2nd time visiting

Was gonna say something similar. I'm not going to say we don't want the guys with the best TBS rating we can get (see Fautanu & Rosengarten), but it certainly feels to me like OL is the top position where TBS ratings aren't as important and it's more about getting the right bodies/athletes and development. Also feels like it's the top position where guys in the state who UW doesn't offer turn out to be good.

what??? We? dont have room but you take this kid regardless.

You tell Ajose that he’s a DB if this kid jumps in. I think Ajose is a better DB prospect anyway.

I think it’s still early for a lot of those guys to actually know what position they will be. A lot of tall skinny athletes that they don’t yet know for sure how much weight they’ll be able to put on these kids. Good problem to have. But give the kids a “position” to get them in and figure that shit out later.
good problem to have. -
My very expert read is that Fisch wants a big time WR recruit who is a bigger prospect than people would expect UW to land and sees a #1 WR as super important in current football and his scheme so they've budgeted a nice chunk to get one and they will. I'm sure the recent success with Odunze and co, even if it's a different staff doesn't hurt either.
