Class rankings are gay. I think average stars is a pretty good metric that probably correlates better to program success.

For the record I don't care too much about being like #18 vs. #26 and I'm an average ranking superiority guy. Those Petersen classes were I think very close to being Top 10 classes by those averages and not boosting a ranking by signing more guys.

I saw something on X (yes it means it could be bullshit) but Petersen's average stars weren't amazing.
The 247 guys lose money when they admit that Petersen and Harbaugh out-scouted people and why it wasn't a Bama Texas rematch.
