I am really starting to hate coach Petersen. To compete with schools like Oregon and Stanford we are going to have to have non-injured players. Maybe he should go coach for a church league.

As I recall, big John Riggins of the Redskins played a half at running back, running over defenders and amassing yards....with a fractured leg. He would have taken the boot, filled it with bootleg and guzzled it on the sidelines.

Was at the practice, wouldn't be too worried about Ross. He was jogging around in his boot and also rode the bike for part of practice. Probably just precautionary, I bet at most he is out a week.

All we know right now is that he's in a walking boot and that he's not using crutches. Since Petersen won't talk about injuries to the media, the only thing we can do as fans is to wait until he begins running again and playing live downs in practice. -
