    Me too, no kidding. It was July 21, 2019, Cooperstown, NY, and I was sporting a special edition Edgar Martinez Hall of Fame Jersey. My one and only time playing that game.

    And it was worth it. What was better were the folks wearing t shirts with Edgar’s batting average vs. his HOF pitching class peers Rivera, Mussina, and Halladay. Edgar OWNED Mariano, and it was Yankee City on the shores of Lake Glimmerglass that day. M’s fans were a strong #2.
