In the 12 games to date, there have been 8 rematches in the title game from games played earlier in the season

Of those 8 games, the original winner won the P12 title 7 of the 8 times

The exception was 2014 Oregon who redeemed a defeat against Arizona (same year that Pete pissed away that game down in Tucson) ... Oregon had a Heisman QB and played for the National Championship

It would be interesting to know how many were favored to win the rematch. I am too lazy to look it up.

But it did last year for sure ...

You could argue it did going into Game 1 this year

Football isn't played on spreadsheets ...

All the spreadsheets do is give an idea of what to look at and what could drive the results ...

It's the coaches job to understand the gaps and to close them ...

DeBoer is what now ... 102-11? Seems to me that he knows how to not only put together a plan ... but even more importantly knows how to execute one
