PAC12 Championship History

Of those 8 games, the original winner won the P12 title 7 of the 8 times
The exception was 2014 Oregon who redeemed a defeat against Arizona (same year that Pete pissed away that game down in Tucson) ... Oregon had a Heisman QB and played for the National Championship

It would be interesting to know how many were favored to win the rematch. I am too lazy to look it up.Tequilla said:In the 12 games to date, there have been 8 rematches in the title game from games played earlier in the season

But it did last year for sure ...
You could argue it did going into Game 1 this year
Football isn't played on spreadsheets ...
All the spreadsheets do is give an idea of what to look at and what could drive the results ...
It's the coaches job to understand the gaps and to close them ...
DeBoer is what now ... 102-11? Seems to me that he knows how to not only put together a plan ... but even more importantly knows how to execute one -

UW gets blown out or takes them to deep waters again and does another voodo trick and gets the W. Don’t see UW blowing them out

Huh? Didn't Oregon win both those as underdogs? Does remind me though if there's a game Washington would want to have replicated it would be 2019. Oregon was winning a lot of games ugly and dropped one they shouldn't have. Utah lost one game close at their divisional rival and demolished almost everyone else and was a balanced machine type team. Utah came in 6.5 favorites. Then Oregon ended up winning by 22 in the championship. There's a lot of differences, but it's about the closest potentially positive one for UW in comparison there is easily.MikeSeaver said:

Worst is 2014 where Arizona got a close early season win at Autzen then got blown out in the rematch but there's way more differences there and that Arizona team wouldn't have even been there had Petersen taken a knee when he could of against them. -

Neither does Washington breaking the tie for second most Pacific Coast titles with the win but it's still cool -
Fun fact. Oregon has the most Pac-12 championships with 4* and Washington is tied with Utah for the third most with 2*. If Lake didn't voluntarily give one to the Ducks, this game would decide who goes out with the most Pac-12 titles.RaceBannon said:

Nice of you to give yourself a victory over Oregon and USC and the PAC 12 championship without even playing the games.
