I follow the NBA closely and have pondered this for countless hours.
I'm going with the Bucks. -
Blazers
-
Sonics
-
Opening night and Anthony Davis already getting killed on X
-
Give me the Celtics.
-
Bucks over Nuggs in 7
-
Bucks over Suns.
Celtics should win it but I don't trust their coaching staff. Don't like nuggets depth but they overcame it last year. -

Celtics over Nuggets.

The Suns have squandered their years of sucking to get a great core.
Nurkic, Eubanks, and Little starting or getting significant minutes?
😆 -
Dame winning a ring as soon as he gets out of PDX will delicious.
I look forward to all the quook tears.
*Real* quooks, not the Florida/Texas wannabe quooks, of course. -
BleachedAnusDawg's NBA breakdown based entirely upon what I hear on the radio because I don't watch the NBA until June.
Bucks - Dame getting older and breaking down. I also think the Celtics backcourt is going to abuse him on the defensive side whereas Holiday was a good defender. Will get injured at some point. Bucks have to hope it's not in May. Beauchamp is a chintriguing young guy who could develop this year.
Suns - KD and Beal are both injury prone. No chance they stay healthy, and they have no depth.
Celtics - Porzingis has some injury history, but seemed to mostly put that behind him last year. Holiday is a massive upgrade over Smart because he can actually score the ball.
Nuggets - same team as last year and they have the confidence and continuity to keep it rolling.
Lakers - fuck outta here. Nobody with a brain thinks they can win it.
Clippers - LOL nothing but injuries everywhere.
Sixers - Not a chance in hell. They need two more guys and to get rid of Harden (who is not going to bring them anyone significant in return at this point). Maxey is not close to being a high-end #2 guy.
Mavs - no way Kyrie and Doncic make their 1 on 1 hero ball games work together.
Warriors - too old and broken down at this point. They really fucked themselves when they drafted Wiseman. That #2 pick was their shot at keeping the window open a few years longer. The 2020 draft was trash, but they probably should have taken LaMelo.
Sleeper teams who could make some conference first round / semifinals noise - Kings and Thunder. -
The Celtics can't seem to get it done

You've convinced me to switch to the Nuggets.RaceBannon said:The Celtics can't seem to get it done

I want him to get a ring. It was time to move on and rebuild the roster from the mess that Olshey made.dnc said:Dame winning a ring as soon as he gets out of PDX will delicious.

Blazers looking sharpe (LOL) to start the mid season tournament.

Da fuq is this mid season tournament?haie said:Blazers looking sharpe (LOL) to start the mid season tournament.
And why should we care?
-
I like to have a mid season tournament the 2nd week of a 7 month season
-
I guess it's called the In Season Tournament but the Blazers commentary people are FS and kept calling it the Mid Season tournament last night.RaceBannon said:I like to have a mid season tournament the 2nd week of a 7 month season
Blazers look better with Scoot and Simons out. -
Nuggets vs Celtics.
Celtics in 6. -
Cavs looked good last night. Solid 4 seed or so in the East and could see them upsetting Boston or some overly finesse team in the playoffs.
-
OKC is actually pretty fun to watch. Bunch of youngsters who defend and can shoot the rock.
So, yeah, fuck Clay Bennett and Howard Schulz
-
Lakers over Celtics. 4-2
-
NBA?
-
The NBA fucking sucks. There’s only one “real” professional team sport. And that’s because they have a hard cap.
-
Bucks 0-3 since the worst coaching decision in history.
