3 years ago Victoria's secret got on board the woke train. Hired some men dressed like women models, had that skank rapinoe as their spokesperson who basically went around telling people that VC's fashion is no longer for women to entice or entertain men, and fired all of the males on their BOD and put together a weird menagerie of "women" on the BOD. Commercials around the world featured individuals who made many men and women squirm.

They lost almost 20 percent in sales in rapid fashion. They have learned a very expensive lesson: virtue signaling doesn't pay the bills. They got all sorts of pats on the back from on-line sources, but two ton non-binary Bessie with multiple face piercings, too many tattoos to count and no job other than serial protesting, ain't the one buying sexy undergarments.

The idiocy of corporate leadership is astounding.

Victoria's Secret ditches prioritizing wokeness over 'sexiness' after sales drop
According to Victoria's Secret executives, the brand's diversity initiatives have 'not been enough to carry the day' financially

In 2021, Rapinoe called out what the brand had been before the revamp, claiming it had sent out a "really harmful" message that was "patriarchal, sexist, viewing not just what it meant to be sexy but what the clothes were trying to accomplish through a male lens and through what men desired."

"And it was very much marketed toward younger women," the U.S. Women’s soccer star added at the time.

Gee, marketing to your base? Go figure. And Rapinoe is the voice of what young women should buy as she is from the same marketing background as the Bud Light Mulvaney campaign. Had a woman co-worker years ago that complained about the lack of female women on the cover of Sports Illustrated except for the swimsuit edition. I asked her about the lack of male models on the cover of Vogue and where were the ads in the magazine for male hygiene products like athlete's foot treatment. Silence.
