Reminds me of when we got 3* Haouli Kikaha and his high 4* DE teammate went to Notre Dame. *Yawn* on the other guy.

Well I hope it ends up reminding us all of that. Jamora/Kikaha looked destined for goodness if not greatness from the beginning. A dude from Hawaii on doogman, who had no connection to either of them was adamant that Jamora was the better prospect throughout that cycle.

I went to the Raise the Woof event when Kikaha was a freshman. I somehow ended up at a table with him. Nick Holt came around and told everyone Kikaha was gonna be a stud. I wasn’t sure what to believe because it was Nick Holt saying it.
He said in a radio interview after the season that it was hard on the defense because their best player got hurt for the year early on. Whomever it was doing the interview was taken back by it and asked Jamora? And he said yeah.

Didn't he have 18.5 or 19 sacks as a senior?

yeah, something like that ... what I was trying to say was that I was rooting for him to do well in the big league but he sustained a knee injury iirc and then was just a shell of what he could have become. He was really coming into his own.
