Oregon co-eds > Washington co-eds. The new look seems to be braless tube top with Mom Jeans for both sides.

Stadium was packed and fairly loud, seemed like kind a buzz of lets just win this and move on. Thought 2016 Stanford game was a bit more raucous. Maybe due to D is pretty “average” and couldn't get many stops. and 12:30 kickoff minimizes boozing.

Was a hoot singing Journey with 70K of my closest friends. 9/10

Bucky Irving is fantastic

#25 for UW is not

Oregon fans are predominantly white, but have truly embraced the Urban lifestyle, reminded me of Malibus Most Wanted. Vaping ecigs and bad tattoos were quite prevalent. Along with throwing “dubs down” and speaking various hip hop slang with loud belly laughs.

Went to Ave before game all bars super packed found small place down by Schultzys called Dupbop. No one was in the place and they sell beer and sake and the food looked legit. Nice to not fight for a beer.

Dan Lanning might be my new all time favorite Oregon coach.

Taking the subway makes things pretty easy.

Are you suggesting Oregon fans have become the Fresno of the PNW?

I had a few things from the day that stood out.

The students were absolutely mental. Lined up for Game Day and the game 3 hours in advance. Not a single seat was used as they didn't sit down. Duck kicker probably puts it through without them. I was impressed.

The duck fans were hilariously stereotypical. They were at about a 81% completion on neck beards. One group was repeatedly attempting to smoke while waiting for the subway. Overall they were peaceful monster energy drinkers and not aggressive tweakers at least.

Stadium pre game experience is still kind of bizzare? I don't have good ideas or answers but it didn't feel like there was much effort into getting the place poppin. Purple reign being played after the 3rd quarter is insane. Puts the place to sleep. Tap in to Nirvana more it's a way better trope.

ZTF falling down after running directly at Nix and falling down allowing him to pickup the 1st down was the worst play of the game and my final straw with him. Need Durfee to loosen things up for Trice. Have moved my positional hate from the DBs to the DL.

Being on the field after with my Dad and brother dappin up students, players and band going all out is a core memory now.

I was at UW in the Lambo era, student support was slackening then. Has been weak for a while, glad to see it’s coming back.

I call this the “oregon tight end” look
The vast majority of college themed tattoos I have ever seen are Donald Duck in green or a giant zero, I like to call the O a zero, that’s what I like to do.
If Portland ever gets an NFL team the Duck fan base will be decimated.

Portland already has an NFL team called the Seahawks. If you're a Twelve°, you've bragged about those methheads breaking dB records and causing false starts, shared tailgates, and crossed swords at the stadium troughs with more Ducks than you'd probably care to realize.

Yup. Which is why Portland will never get an MLB or NFL team

These two are spot on. Purple reign at the end of the game was good. To start the 4th was ridiculous.
Why not Purple Haze at end of 3Q and Purple Rain after a win?
I AGREE 100%! Purple Rain just doesn't fit in that situation, let's play a ballad to get the crowd pumped up. So dumb. I've never liked that song

Purple Haze is a great choice. Or maybe Alive by Pearl Jam if they want to stay with the Seattle theme

You mean the song from the guy that's actually from Seattle, not Minnesota? hmmm

Meh. You have one of the main stereotypical sports hype bands in the world from the Seattle area I don't think you can get a better choice than Nirvana. It's not hard. People in their 50s and their teens know it. Crowds are coming hope the AD can entertain us.

My 22 year and friends love grunge music. One of the friends is in a band that covers a lot of AIC and Nirvana.

There's nothing wrong with playing some Hendrix. It doesn't always have to be Purple Haze. A little Voodoo Child , (slight return) would be stellar at the end of the third.

You're right about grunge though. Everyone knows it. It's something that connects to seattle. It's pretty easy.
