Defense is forcing them to beat us threw the air which they cant do
A few blown coverages and dropped passes, but decent thus far.

If I'm being charitable, all of the infuriating (and ineffective) early sideways passing was a rope-a-dope for the later downfield plays. Still hated it.
Boise's kick returner is trying his best to win the Britain Covey Memorial Award. Nice to see the hitting on special teams.
Dropped pass has been a big player for the defense again. Coverage has been... okay. DL got blown off the line once as a unit to give up a rushing first down. Failure to cover the back out of the back field once resulted in a huge play. Missed tackles have turned short gains into first downs a number of times. The secondary still is generally there or thereabouts, which is more than you could say last year.
This is a Boise team picked to win their conference, right? That puts them equal to roughly an upper mid pack P12 team? 28-12 at half isn't horrible, considering. -
