I used the term “moved on to greener pastures” today when talking about who retired. Apparently that means something different.
I used the term “moved on to greener pastures” today when talking about who retired. Apparently that means something different. I gave a little pre project briefing for an annual work event last week. I think there were 15 people there. I subtly dropped a "sold the couch", referring to one of the project founders who is too old to take part anymore, and everyone just stared blankly past me like they already were. I had to know. No HH there though.

No HH there though. So I decided to google greener pastures saying just now. Turns out I used it exactly how it was supposed to be. Cock sucker in the meeting called me out like what I said meant death. Saving grace is the account is now a six figure biller so I end up laughing at everything he says either way. When can I fucking retire.
