    We haven't been keeping up with the overall demand for new software for years. There are other factors that I'd take to the Tug but know it's still one of the most in demand fields and a lot of what AI can do wrt engineering has massively underdelivered.

    There are definitely uses for it though but a kid going into CS isn't wasting his money. Or just skipping school altogether and building stuff. Like anything else in life be able to solve problems and don't be a fuck head.
