46Q, chatch, and boblet the past 24 hours when they should be celebrating narrowly escaping the Big 12:RaceBannon said:
At this point what difference does it make?46XiJCAB said:
You keep telling yourself that.RaceBannon said:So if the B1G gives uw more money that's bad?
Oregon isn't getting in without Washington:no_upscale()/cdn.vox-cdn.com/uploads/chorus_image/image/2147767/musraaage.0.gif)

4D chess. Had to push the AD into the red to ensure upper campus did the right thing and left the PAC.

If not for Oregon you're Big 12 begging.haie said:

Oregon is the national brand, but UW is the credibility. You need both. One appeals to the networks and drives the money while the other appeals to the ADs and Presidents that actually make the decision.46XiJCAB said:

Literally nothing suggests any of that for Oregon. Quite the opposite actually.thechatch said:UW is getting an offer because Oregon gets national eyeballs.
All shit talking aside, that’s the deal.
ND
Oregon
UW
If the B1G could get ND, Oregon gets a secondary invite. If they can’t, Oregon is the primary focus and UW gets to ride coattails.
Caterwaul all you want. That’s the reality.
The Seattle market is less important to the B1G than the national brands in south bend and Eugene.
They learned this lesson with Rutgers and Maryland. Be happy that ND isn’t interested and your big brother is as rich and popular as he is. You’re getting an invitation to the show because of it.
Have a great night collecting beer caps, Haie😘
As soon as Colorado bolted Oregon shit themselves and extended their coach and upped his buyout.
One school is talking to the Big 12, the other is not.
One school is a perfect fit for the B1G, the other is their rival and brings a pro sports owner who is 90 years old.
How many times in the last year do you used car salesman quooks have to be shown that you aren't a national *anything*?
Yeah. Beer caps or some shit 💤
uw benefitted because of it.
Your sorry ass just can’t deal.
Fuck off and enjoy the coattails of big Bro.

People ignore how closely tied the UW and UO admins are. The fans hate each other, but the school admins have a very different relationship. In many ways these schools have more in common and communicate better with each other than they do with their respective instate sibling universities.

Lots of differences but both schools are run by west coast/pnw druids. -
Lol very true. They’ve always seemed to get along really well. Which makes this move very easy for them.haie said:
