My criticism as an outsider looking at the UO recruiting machine is that, most of the parents come across as complete dumbfucks that want to get paid (they want to, don't seem to care if their kids do or not).
And then sitting the bench probably has financial repercussions as well. Are you going to put Anthony Jones' poster on a fucking Eugene AirBnB wall? What about NFT's?
Seems like the Oregon thing works out well for guys like Thibodeaux where he's such a name that he can just take himself out of the game in Palo Alto and then who gives a fuck what the outcome is. -
