Take that Dr IDZ
Doctor, “become a carnivore!” I laffed at the thought of all vegetarians screaming NOOOOOOOOO!

Clearly needed to hunt down berries and seeds. Since the beginning of time men have had a pronounced brow because they were hunting game in the thicket, designed to protect the eyes. Women have the smooth brow, designed for gathering in the open. This is also an identifier that can come in handy for those still in search of a mate in todays world.
I don't trust any extreme diet. Vegans and carnivores can both fuck off.
I don't trust any extreme diet. Vegans and carnivores can both fuck off. Human beings were 99% carnivore for at least 1.5 million years. Chaffee's argument is that we're still carnivore and that many of our diseases that have gone way up the past 50 years are a direct result of the public being scared away from eating meat and consuming processed foods and plant material

Believe or dont.

And it doesn't matter if it is sucrose (cane and sugar beets) or fructose (corn, berries etc) . All quickly breakdown to glucose which is what the body burns for fuel. The quick breakdown overloads the bodies generation of insulin and the ability to use it. Eat protein or more complex carbohydrates and the body will burn fat while waiting to process the more complex foods. Sugars and simple carbs have only been available to most of the planet for a few hundred years. Honey was the basic sort of sweetness for Europeans until they got to the Caribbean. Average diet in Europe until very recently was usually sugar free. I don't think non-processed "plant material" is a real cancer problem. Spinach good. Creamed spinach at the steakhouse is delicious, but has some sugar from the lactose in the cream. Asparagus good. Asparagus with a hollandaise sauce at the steakhouse is delicious.
I keep grazing to a minimum. I am a carnivore. A salad here and there and a few veggies is OK but meat is what I eat. I like bread but avoid it mostly. I absolutely have to have pasta and pizza occasionally. I read an interesting article some years back. Archeologists had done a dig on a village in Europe. They went through the layers and the bones. When the village switched from hunter gatherer to agrarian they shrunk four inches in height! No thanks!
