Pac-12 Football Strength of Schedule Rankings 2023
Pac-12 football strength of schedule rankings. Who has it easiest and who has the nastiest schedule going into the 2023 season?
Pac-12 Football Strength of Schedule 2023
We’re going off our 2023 College Football Rankings 1-133: First Look, but this will change after our Preview 2023 is done and we know how all the teams look.
If it’s a home game, take the first look ranking and that’s the score. If USC is ranked 8th, a home game counts for 8 points. An away date gets cut in half, so playing the Trojans on the road counts for 4 points. Any game against an FCS team counts as 134 points, and neutral site dates are scored like a home game.
The lower the score, the hardest the schedule projects to be.
Ranked from the hardest schedule to the easiest.
1. Colorado Football Schedule
Score: 419.5 Going to TCU isn't an easy way to start, and trips to Oregon, UCLA, and Utah are some of the other tough road dates for Coach Prime. On the fun side, there are several winnable home games - that includes Nebraska.
Sept 2 at TCU
Sept 9 Nebraska
Sept 16 Colorado State
Sept 23 at Oregon
Sept 30 USC
Oct 7 at Arizona State
Oct 13 Stanford
Oct 21 OPEN DATE
Oct 28 at UCLA
Nov 4 Oregon State
Nov 11 Arizona
Nov 17 at Washington State
Nov 25 at Utah
2. Cal Football Schedule
Score: 420 Cal has a tough schedule partly because it doesn't play ... Cal. It also doesn't get Colorado, meaning there's nothing easy in Pac-12 play. Going to North Texas doesn't help before hosting Auburn.
Sept 2 at North Texas
Sept 9 Auburn
Sept 16 Idaho
Sept 23 at Washington
Sept 30 Arizona State
Oct 7 Oregon State
Oct 14 at Utah
Oct 21 OPEN DATE
Oct 28 USC
Nov 4 at Oregon
Nov 11 Washington State
Nov 18 at Stanford
Nov 25 at UCLA
3. Stanford Football Schedule
Score: 446 The new era starts out with a rough schedule considering all the travel, starting with dates at Hawaii and USC. The Cardinal had better win the home games that are there for the taking - Arizona and Cal - or uh-oh.
Sept 1 at Hawaii
Sept 9 at USC

Sept 23 Arizona
Sept 30 Oregon
Oct 7 OPEN DATE
