He’s the owner of the ping pong club Marty goes to a couple of times. The same one the guy with the dog comes to and finds Marty.
It is a good movie. It’s really long tho.

The finger roll was a thing of beauty. saw it in 1981 and 1982. Gervin was on fire in the '81 game. In the '82 meeting The Iceman still poured in 26 points. But it was Fred Brown who 9 of 9 that night and David Thompson showed up as well.
