Yeah I thoroughly enjoyed White Lotus, but I felt the first two seasons had a near Curb Your Enthusiasm level of bringing everything together well and this one was super sloppy and with a bunch of stuff that didn't end up mattering or never got resolved. Agree on Gary, especially since this guy met his wife he killed at a White Lotus and is now on the run, but he moves by a White Lotus and just hangs out there all the time?

I don't know the game but isn't the girl in Last of Us game pretty? For an industry that is hemmoraging viewers and customers the whole we're going to cast unattractive and odd-looking people in stuff isn't a great strategy. I live in Woolley, I constantly see ugly people. Maybe when I check out for my fiction I want to see people that are attractive.

I never played the games and am over this genre on most everything these days, but yeah HBO shoved this they/it into a role that makes absolutely no sense and it was just done to shove it to the viewers.

I watched season 1 and everything they pulled in that that supposedly wasn't in rhe game, and then I watched a few clips of the violent parts of the second game.

The vibe of this show should have been 28 Days Later.

    Fuck HBO.

Despite being here, I'm pretty moderate and hate the social engineering Hollywood has shoved on us and won't fucking stop, even though it's failing other than for mostly women of certain demographics.

Warfare tonight at a dumpy theater that doesn't serve alcohol.

Whoever came up with reserved seating needs to be forced to watch Wicked on repeat in a locked room with nothing but a TV screen, a handgun, and a bottle of scotch.

Film of the year so far.

Garland has made his share of weird shit, but I hope he continues on this new path. Civil War was mostly decent last summer, this is obviously based on a real situation and blows that movie out of the water.

Rewatched Blue Chips and it's a funny watch these days. The villain is a booster who likes to pay boosters and rants about how the players should be paid. What a refreshing time.

    Watcher

I probably wouldn't have given this a try if it didn't star Maika Monroe. Longlegs, It Follows, and now this movie. Somehow she only does great movies.

A decently clever serial killer mystery/thriller with a great ending.
