Disney preaches hate in the Proud Family

Disney has every right to provide any content they see fit. I honestly appreciate that, because it made my decision as a consumer very easy. As of yesterday, we cancelled our Disney+ and ESPN+ subscriptions. We were also planning a trip to take my 4 year old to Disneyland as well this summer, but that is now in the process of changing to Universal Studios. I know....#courage (sorry HHusky, beat you to it)
As a hardcore capitalist, I have no issue with Disney doing what they see fit. As a consumer I also have the choice to no longer financially support them. That's how capitalism works. I also fully understand that my family's money is a fraction of a penny to Disney's bottom line. -
I'm getting disney+ as part of a bundle. I like some of the shows. Andor and Mandalorian are great. My kids loved Mysterious Benedict Society. We haven't watched it in months, and I'd never pay for it separately.

That's the old "you can always change the channel or turn off the TV" argument.greenblood said:Disney has every right to provide any content they see fit. Unfortunately, it doesn't work anymore. Commies and Socialists are not Capitalists.
Hence, Apples vs. Oranges. Different rules.
Just ask the small business owners all over the country, and the rooftop Koreans.
You can't ignore what that shit leads to anymore. -
It all adds up. I went to Disneyland for the last time in 2018. Never felt so exploited at any paid event. Totally felt joyless.greenblood said:Disney has every right to provide any content they see fit. I honestly appreciate that, because it made my decision as a consumer very easy. Slaves built the country that's why there was so little heavy industry and manufacturing in the areas where the slaves actually lived and great amounts of both in the areas where slaves didn't live.RaceBannon said:Someone said that if slaves built this country the confederates would have won the war
Slavery cost those lazy fucks everything
The north was exploiting vast supplies of immigrant labor to build America -
Banning what Disney can air, is doing the same thing the fragile woke pansies like HHusky are trying to do to others. Hitting them with your wallet is much more significant. Look at the movie "Bros". I didn't see many families or news outlets screaming that the movie shouldn't air or is inappropriate. People made the decision with their wallets. Now the movie has completely disappeared. If large amounts of people silently stop paying money to Disney, Disney will either change or go broke. That decision is up to them. But if you want change, do it quietly. Being loud only emboldens the woke base and puts Disney front and center in the spotlight. -
Nobody is banning Disney. DeSantis is taking away their special tax privileges because they are engaged in destructive, anti-social and criminal behavior.greenblood said:

Play the Capitalist card all you want, but socialist NPR does the same shit, so that - the Libertarian's view - is not enough anymore.
Call them out, condemn them and deprive them of cash and power to influence kids.
How do you stop a pedo? Hide the kids.
He's still a pedo, but the kids are alright. -
AT&T dropped Newsmax and 10 billion in value
Capitalists like to make money not burn it up
Capitalists go elsewhere than Disney or AT&T not ban them
But the whole point of EsG and woke capitalism is to promote an agenda not make money
DeSantis won't let Florida blow their money on woke investing either
Gotta fight back -
Eh I think the age of woke shit

Not only do we have Disney teaching and preaching hate, but we have dumbasses on Twitter lecturing people that "Woke" = "N-Word."
And if I ask where you're from, what I'm really saying is "you don't belong here."
No. Fuck that stupid shit. If I ask, "where are you from(?)" what I'm really doing is asking where you're from.
For all the talk about racism, good old fashioned Prejudice has quietly returned with a vengeance.
