His punting average as a HS senior was better than McAllister. He’s got a lot of film of KOs longer than 65 yards. He also ran a KO back for a TD so he’s not a stiff of an athlete. With college coaching and training he could eventually be a good special teams weapon. UW beat OSU and Oregon by a FG. Henry was nails this year. Who’s kicking FGs next year? A slight worry for my Doog boner.

*note: I watched the kids film. God help me I watched.

Gross and Schrock kicked for us this year, so it should be open competition with those two and Petz

Looking forward to some fake punts next season if he's athletic enough to play *white WR for Lynden and run back kicks.

Special teams is a HUGE concern next year ...

If this program wants to get to where it says it wants to get to next year, improving special teams play is a massive requirement

We saw the defense improve as the season progressed, but special teams always seemed to be mediocre at best. We had a punt blocked against OSU and struggled to get punts downed inside the 20.

Good news was the blocked punt against Texas which resulted in 3 points despite gaining 1 yard on 3 plays.

Like the kid a lot - also played WR for them, the long jumping makes me excited, the best kicker I’ve seen in person was a high-jumper and walked onto our track team until the Pinnacle vodka got to him. Had a massive leg and was 5’10

    Pwoof?

    Most likely

We have 3 walk-on kickers, so whoever is the best can win a scholarship
