Yeah but did he go out and pick up the keg for the games of those undefeated seasons?

Did Turner (I refuse to call him ASA) play against SC? I don't remember seeing him make any of his hallmark 15-yards-downfield-hanging-onto-the-back-of-the-ballcarrier-until-he-finally-falls-to-the-ground tackles.

He didn't have a single, successful attempt to take the wrong angle and run himself out of a tackle attempt either. Great game for him.

He didn't play. Fabiculanan basically didn't either. That's why all the DBs were playing out of their normal positions all night. I have no love for Turner as a player, but having him out and forcing Powell out of Husky and Muhammed out of #1 CB spot is worse for the defense than having Turner playing at safety. Hatchett being out is also not good, because Utah's defense actually tries to tackle people and will probably try forcing the A gap like ASU did.

Comforting to know McMillan is just now getting a second fucking opinion. For having one of the best medical schools in the nation, I have to question the academis of the Husky football team's doctors.

They'll medically retire him and then he'll transfer to UCLA and lead the country in receiving yards
It's not like they're holding him out. They're putting him in and Jalen's making the decision to exit the game during the first series.

Guess the 2nd opinion is more to see if the original doctors missed something and there's a more serious underlying injury that's causing Jalen to sit out these games

It's very odd it is not an issue in a weeks worth of practice to the point where he has said he is good to go multiple times, only to remove himself promptly.

Hatchett got abused vs ASU. So much so they moved Brailsford over to guard and had Landon snap at times. Buelow is the best guard we have outside of Kalepo. I’m glad he’s back to take on Utah and I’m glad he got a practice game in before a real DLine comes calling.
I agree with you that Buelow is the better player. To put my concern differently, things didn't get better in the ASU game when Hatchett got pulled, it just ended up meaning a bunch of OLs were playing out of position. With Hatchett out this game, any snap Buelow doesn't play (either for rest or injury) probably requires shuffling the OL against an actual defense. I'd prefer Hatchett as a backup at guard so everyone else can play in position rather than the alternative.
