Beat ranked teams BYU, UCLA and Utah.
Even though both teams finished 7-2 in the Conference, Washington was far better this year, beating Oregon at Autzen and Washington improved as the season went on.
Oregon did manage to beat unranked ASU and UCLA, Washington’s two losses.
And I believe the last time they played them in Tempe they lost.
