    Back when I did online dating, they had all those fields you had to fill out like favorite movie, etc. - I never took it seriously as I know all men do is look at the PICS - so I’d just put in just goofy shit.

    For “last book you read” I wrote:

    Shelby Foote’s “The Civil War: A Narrative: Volume 3: Red River to Appomattox” (SPOILER ALERT: The North wins!)

    One guy responded by writing something like, “…thanks a lot! I’m still reading Volume 2. Will you at least not tell me what happens during Lincoln’s second administration.”

    We ended up dating for several months.

    Was she initially only looking for a DTF, NSA situation, but then caught the feels? (No judgement BTW…happened to me more than I care to admit.)

    Most women read the profile if they’re looking for a LTR.

    Nah. She could just tell from the pics I was a keeper- i.e., LTR material.
