For those of you thinking the economy isn’t that bad…

The old view of a pharmacist was kindly Mr. Jenkins working at the local drugstore with plenty of time to talk to his longtime customers. No cancer drugs, no HIV drugs, no heart medicines, no blood pressure meds, no psoriasis meds, no Type 2 diabetes drugs etc. Today, it's all a systemized distribution factory with lots of wage pressure to keep down costs and increase productivity. No surprise, it leads to understaffing. Same is true with doctors, nurses, techs etc. This isn't a Dr. Marcus Welby world with his kindly nice nurse. It's a blur of electronic paperwork with the threat of criminal prosecution for coding errors.SwisherSweetboy said:WTF is going on with pharmacies... tried to pick up a prescription for the Swisher granny and there were 10 people in line ahead of me. 10 minutes later no one had moved. I bailed. Sorry granny, no meds for you.
Not sure if it's lack of meds, dumbfucks working there, lack of dumbfucks working there, dumbfuck computer systems not working right, or all the above. Jesus. -
How many times have you ended a doc visit with an electronic Rx to your pharmacy? Problem solved.
Practicing medicine today amounts to “take this and let’s see you in ?”

I've had next day delays on filling my electronic prescriptions at both Walgreen's and Fred Meyer and these weren't supply issues.46XiJCAB said:How many times have you ended a doc visit with an electronic Rx to your pharmacy? Problem solved.

China shit is self inflicted. That moron thought he could shut his economy down and ppl will go along with it. Now they have to open it up. That will go back to normal soon

China shit is self-preservation…if they opened up oil would have been at $120+ again, internal inflation would have been rampant, and people would have been rioting in the streets.FireCohen said:China shit is self inflicted. BlackRock saying 2023 is gonna be bad. Unlike any recent recession. Grim.
Sounds like the run is officially over. We’re moving at full speed towards the WEF Great Reset. It’s gonna be like the Emerald City folks.
Only better! -
