I don't see DeSatan and Drumpf on the same ticket, even though they share a lot of overlap on policy. Ron isn't looking for second fiddle is my read. Really been wondering if Ron can beat Trump in a primary. Trump, though very difficult to elect in a general, has a TON of loyal people in the electorate. Going to be an interesting primary season. I bet the establishment backs Ron even though they actually hate him - lesser of two evils shit....the enemy of my enemy or something....

I've seen reasoned arguments recently that DeSantis would have no chance against Trump in a primary.
For all the hate Trump gets by the retards in the MSM and the PMS housewives, he still has 10s of millions of uber loyals. I like the winners win mantra but I'm not sure Ron or anyone else can in a primary. Trump still has a big base.

And the MAGA ecstatics are the ones energized to vote in primaries.

I think Trump has made a huge tactical error going after DeSantis and he's going to lose many in his base because of it. Exit polls in Florida (polls, I know...and homefield advantage for Ron) has DeSantis 12 points ahead of Trump as the preferred '24 presidential nominee.

    Shhhh.

Let the old Man sip his tea in peace. Politics in 2022 is a young man’s game that moves fast.

You either get ahead of it or you get 2022 mid term freight trained, thinking it’s still 2016.

Splitting DeSantis and Trump is the key to 4 more years in 2024 for the democrats

Attack me all you want. I'll be voting for McGovern and you'll be losing again

Voters repudiated GOP issues in purple states in a big way. Because the GOP are a bunch of pussies. Same as it ever was

The big upside would be 12 years of conservatvive repub presidency and a vice-prez that could really do some shit instead of being invisible.

Why would DeSantis want to serve as Trump's VP? Makes zero sense for him.

Pence was the perfect invisible VP for Trump until the end. Pence is now hated by everyone. My problem with Trump isn't that he doesn't fight, he fights on all fronts, even ones that have no bearing on the ultimate victory. He is now toxic to almost any quality person that could potentially serve in his administration, including DeSantis who has no problem defending himself or his policies, but would go nuts trying to defend or explain any of Trump's unnecessary outbursts. DeSantis isn't going to play back up to Favre because he doesn't have to. And I don't see Trump wanting DeSantis on the bench.

Trump/DeSantis will be the winning ticket in November 2024

The only caveat would be if Trump suffers a serious health issue, etc. Then it's DeSantis running for pres

Then DeSantis will preside over the country from 2028-2036, unless he's unseated by the great Kari Lake.

Why would Ron want to run on a ticket with a loser like Trump? DeSantis isn’t an idiot and tying his political wagon to a loser like Trump is an idiot move

I’ll vote for whomever is at the top of the GOP ticket, so long as we are talking about:

    - A secure border
    - Lower taxes. Much lower.
    - Domestic O/G production
    - Aggressive and protectionary trade
    - Dismantling the ACA

I don’t give a shit about abortion or identity “rights” or any of the other 10,000 “social issues” that really don’t fucking matter.

When the GOP primary rolls around, I’ll support whomever looks like they can actually win this thing. I’m a front runner and not at all afraid to admit it. There are no unicorns in politics. Only lions and lambs.

    I agree. Great post

IMO we? are all going to realize that it really isn't about Trump - it's about tarring those very issues as MAGA terrorism

We live in a country where the president says that making America great again is a dangerous philosophy that has to be crushed

    But Trump
