Strength & Conditioning Program will be hugely upgraded
Petersen in the chat said he thinks Socha is the best strength coach in the country. Strong statement from a guy who doesn't like to apply praise in those terms. So I looked at Socha's bio..
He was a 4-year OL for U of Minnesota. Has a degree and grad degree in fields directly related to S&C. His entire career, dating back to being an OL has basically been spent in S&C. Compare that to Ivan who lacks coaching experience & neither of his degrees were in anything related to S&C.

At this point, since he hasn't proven otherwise, I would tend to buy that statement.
Think about is this way, you have all that testing and scores behind closed doors and the weight room has the Top 5 or whatever listed. That's bound to have some motivation, especially for the people near the top. But with the combine, you have NFL scouts and the media watching. Now they know your times and reps and weights and whatnot. Do you think you're more motivated to pass up your teammates in their 40s or bench press now with others knowing your numbers and looking for improvements?
I'm wonder what other ideas he has for the team this summer.
Do you guys realize how Doogy you really are?
A real S&C Coach looks like this:
You guys are fucked.
Edit: I don't think he has TV arms, though. And doesn't wear sleeveless shirts to games. And doesn't accompany the head coach to bang cocktail waittresses. We can't even say 'wait til Tim gets ahold of him.' Wait, what the fuck did we get ourselves into?
Pretty much the definition of craves it, or is it just her eyebrows?
