Welcome to the Hardcore Husky Forums. Folks who are well-known in Cyberland and not that dumb.

Strength & Conditioning Program will be hugely upgraded

Petersen in the chat said he thinks Socha is the best strength coach in the country. Strong statement from a guy who doesn't like to apply praise in those terms. So I looked at Socha's bio..

He was a 4-year OL for U of Minnesota. Has a degree and grad degree in fields directly related to S&C. His entire career, dating back to being an OL has basically been spent in S&C. Compare that to Ivan who lacks coaching experience & neither of his degrees were in anything related to S&C.

92-12 gives a certain amount of trust when someone makes that statement ...

At this point, since he hasn't proven otherwise, I would tend to buy that statement.

I thought it was pretty good. Mostly coachspeak, but also some candid remarks on areas of concern, like the secondary, which we all know are thin.
