Instead of praising Cohen for not picking Justin Wilcox or Jay Norvell over DeBoer, how about turning the heat up our veteran Athletic Director to make sure her office is doing every fucking thing it can — within the rules or not — to make sure KD has everything he needs to make this program competitive at a high level.

A bigger paycheck. NIL payments. Recruiting inducements. Ways to pack the stadium on a consistent basis. Staff and facility upgrades.

He was still a somewhat risky hire at 12-6 at Fresno and never won his own division, so I I've never agreed with the amount of money being tied to UW just wanting to be cheap.

Everyone's pointing to him being at least a good coach and if the season turns out to be 9+ win UW will pay, and perhaps overpay him and Grubb.

I've never understood this 'Prove you're a big dick school and throw idiotic amounts of money at a coach who is leaving some doubt'
