I think due to them being an awful football program -- to make way for a new team to join. The excuse of distance is not good since Central is only a bit closer from Texas. They (SF) are just a bad football program. https://athletics.sfu.ca/news/2023/2/1/football-update-on-conference-alignment-for-football.aspx
They lose out on Pleasant and then Duce Robinson elects not to sign today. I’m starting to believe this LR guy is overrated. He should have easily pulled the top class in the conference. OU pulled at Top-5 class coming off a crap season.
Sanders Portal strikes again!

Is a DUCK! Oregon jumps to #8 class.
No one is winning a Championship averaging less than a top-15 class for 5 consecutive years. Eight of the last ten Champions have averaged a top-7 or better. The portal isn't going to change that history. The teams at the top are going to reach into it and fill their needs and keep rolling along with top overall classes…

2022 TV ratings per USA Today. No surprise that Oregon led the conference with 2.2M viewers per game, #12 in the country. That's what national brands are expected to do. When the LA schools are gone Utah will move up to #2.
Jaxon Jones, 2024 EDGE, is a Duck. Recruitment now "closed."
I did post this on the NFL Forum but thought it may be good to share it here also. https://youtu.be/IziQ2N-rxLo

There's hope for him at the U, just canned his OC after one year. Good move as Gattis was terrible. He should have listened to Michigan fan in the first place. I wonder if Mario is looking at any Pac-12 OC's?

Choked away a huge lead Sad and pathetic No good quarterbacks since Fouts like 50 years ago LMAO
4 way tie for third in the league. Didn’t have to play either Pac12 team repped in CCG, beat a GOOD Oregon team (finally) on an injury fluke. Lost to probation era ASU and to UCLA who lost to everyone who was half way decent. Then finished off by beating Texas, who granted, didn’t have a lot of their best players…
