Garfield is a regular high school with a non-APP population. Washington is regular middle school with a non-APP population.1 · -

Not a lot of underperforming students are signing up to take the APP coursework in my experience.-1 · -

I don't think anyone is arguing that the kids in the program were harmed by it. But they would have done just as well receiving advanced instruction in their neighborhood school.0 · -

It was stupid because we can have decent honors courses at our neighborhood schools, just like back in “the olden days”. This is an attempt at returning to the neighborhood school model. And Garfield…0 ·
