We might have a real shot here. When was the last recruit Bama landed west of Texas w/o Tosh. Henry would at the very least start at SAM by his SOPH year. If we somehow swung both, we can be super picky on ILBs next cycle. Likely only take guys with pass rush capabilities. Obviously you take guys like Flowe regardless, but no one is forcing our hand.

We 100% can, especially for players the caliber of Henry and Heimuli. You can consider the fact that on top of a top heavy senior class, we also lost two guys that they weren’t expecting to lose in Kaho and Amandre. If we took 3 last year and 4 this year no one would bat an eye, but 2 last year and potentially 5 this year is a problem?whuggy said:Can't see us taking 5 inside linebackers in one class.
Plus they’re not all inside backers. Henry/Heimuli/Phonz have the capacity to play both inside or outside backer positions and Miki is a WIL. We also use LBs as the majority of our special teamers so there is plenty of playing time available. Stack talent, figure out who plays where/when later. -

Also I’m 100% here for Pete’s vindictive ass wanting to get back at Bama for Kaho, just like they did to USC with Tuli after Marlon. -
I give us a 25% head to head against Bama for him. But I give it a 50% shot of Bama running out of room and him falling into our laps. According to my made up percentages, that gives us a 75% chance of landing him.
