The UCLA insider is “hearing” that Ford is going to decommit in the coming days and he’s likely going to end up at Oregon.
Lol -
I would laugh if this actually happens right after Michael Johnson sells his couch. I don't think he was the primary recruiter anyway. It would be good news for Washington, there's no way we can take both Ford and Nacua.GaryFromTeenMom said:The UCLA insider is “hearing” that Ford is going to decommit in the coming days and he’s likely going to end up at Oregon.
Lol
Or it's not true and everyone is just piling on USC because that dumpster fire is burning even smellier than we thought. -
“I wonder how @LaMichael_Corleone will take that news. That guy seemed to be pretty obsessed despite knowing Ford would go to USC the whole time. Gotta be hard on him to see Oregon as the favorite.”GaryFromTeenMom said:The UCLA insider is “hearing” that Ford is going to decommit in the coming days and he’s likely going to end up at Oregon.

Per Wiltfong:
Oregon offensive coordinator Marcus Arroyo spent time with Orange (Calif.) Lutheran five-star receiver Kyle Ford this week and the Ducks should be considered a contender moving forward for the five-star recruit.
Ford committed to USC during the All-American Bowl earlier this month but obviously the Trojans lost their offensive coordinator Kliff Kingsbury to a head job in the NFL creating doubt about the future.
A source believes Ford is a flip candidate but also said he could forego signing a letter-of-intent on Feb. 6 to take more time with his college decision while digesting more info regarding USC and Oregon.
This clearly is a comment about KKKingsbury leaving USC and Johnson leaving Oregon today. Honestly it is becoming a level playing field. It also gives Bush and Adams a chance to do some work.
-
The delay was more of a stab at KKKingsbury than on Johnson. OC vs Wr coach. Also, Johnson wasn’t even the head recruiter for Ford. It was Arroyo.DoogCourics said:Per Wiltfong:

We haven't been mentioned as a player for Ford in weeks except on doog boreds. -
Guess you've never heard that things change in recruiting all the time. You just never know!sinceredawg said:DoogCourics said:Per Wiltfong:

If Ford really goes to Oregon then petersen fucked up his recruiting royally.

Junior Adams isn’t following Ford on Twitter.

Remember that one time UDUB stopped talking to Ford while they thought they were gonna get Ngata and Nacua? I do. I also remember that during those 4-5 months Oregon did not stop talking to him. Fucking effort man. -
Does anyone remember Lubick landing anyone other than Yankoff?

Dev Culp, Trey Lowe but you can group them all in together as the Oregon Exile groupDawgFader said:Does anyone remember Lubick landing anyone other than Yankoff?

I'll say it again, I wish someone would ask Peterman the direct questions
"what happened with lubick?"
"did you get played?" "did you get conned?"
"what happened with recruiting?..." -

The Oregon 247 has an update where Ford is mentioned. Essentially says hes not talking to anyone until SC gets their coaching shit figured out.

So not talking for a few years then?bananasnblondes said:The Oregon 247 has an update where Ford is mentioned. Essentially says hes not talking to anyone until SC gets their coaching shit figured out.

Would you rather have Kyle Ford go to Oregon or stay at USC?

Stay at USC, for a multitude of reasons.dirtysouwfdawg said:

1. USC will waste his talent and I have full confidence than USC will not succeed with this setup and elite talent.
2. Oregon getting a lot of momentum (moreso than they already have) will hurt on the trail. It's sales. I'm a lot more worried about Oregon's pitch than USC's.
3. I don't want Oregon getting a shit ton of offensive talent. They still have that flashy offensive brand. The less of that UW has to deal with the better. -
Looks like UW threw in the towel with this kid when he committed to SC which is highly irritating. Puka said Petersen told him he's the only remaining WR they're recruiting and if they don't get him they'll only take Taj Davis. Doesn't make any fucking sense why they're trying to flip Nacua but not Ford. Wonder what happened behind the scenes with this kid. I distinctly remember SC fans freaking out after hearing he silently committed to UW from some SC sources. He probably did and then flipped to SC and UW was done with him after that. Whatever, he's not coming here.
-
I actually agree with this ... was wondering the same thing.StrongArmCobra said:Looks like UW threw in the towel with this kid when he committed to SC which is highly irritating. Close this thread...he gone!

keep the thread open, but only until...tvoie said:Close this thread...he gone!
1. Signing day is over
2. Transfer portal closes
3. Ford arrives in Eugene
4. Ford works out with the Ducks
5. eDuck says everything is fine
6. Ford misses Day 1 of Fall Camp with "personal issues, but it's fine"
7. Ford plays a down in their first game.... THEN close the thread; otherwise we still have a chance. -
Biggins on the USC board 30 min ago:
Orange Lutheran had their football banquet last night. Kyle has basically gone underground and isn't talking but I talked to two of his coaches last night who said Ford is planning to stay with USC. Football wise, he's not worried about the direction of the program, is confident things will turn around but the biggest thing he's looking for is opportunities after football, which was the main reason he chose USC in the first place. He feels once his playing days are done, a USC degree and the networking will set him up the best and as of now, is not wavering at all in his decision.
-
If he's saying he's going to wait until SC's coaching situation is cleared up then he's clearly saying he favors SC. I think it's over unless Uncle Phil sends a massive bag.
-
Interesting. Someone must have flubbed the pitch on his Notre Dame visit.GaryFromTeenMom said:Biggins on the USC board 30 min ago:

I always love it when 17/18 years olds bring up "networking" as a reason.GaryFromTeenMom said:Biggins on the USC board 30 min ago:

That's been the talk on Oregon boards. They think he's USC all the way, unless his dad needs some money. Hence the pursuit of Puka.GaryFromTeenMom said:Biggins on the USC board 30 min ago:
