Emotionally invested? I just think it's funny. If you want emotional investment in an issue. Look at someone who claims that Welfare was "gutted" despite the fact that the budget for it was increased by $40 Billion dollars. That's someone who is so invested in an issue they'll repeat bullshit and ignore the facts.
