Why are Republicans accused of racism?
Is it because we believe African Americans are smart enough and capable of getting ID to vote? -
Do you ever start to question why you intentionally misinterpret arguments so that you can get mad on the internet?SFGbob said:HardlyClothed said:
As dumb as this statement is, your racist implication is also false. Clinton and the Repubs teamed up to gut welfare and “end it as we know it”. You may have missed it.backthepack said:Because republicans are the ones who effectively replaced the black father with the state!!!1!
Thanks Bill Clinton. A true republican hero.... oh wait!!
Ahhh yes, they "gutted" Welfare just like Obama's "austerity" where he ran a $700 Billion deficit.
This is just welfare expenses, it doesn't include Medicaid which is another form of Welfare.
1993 Clinton's first year in office Welfare expenditures were were a little under $146B. In 2000, Clinton's last year in office Welfare spent $171B. They gutted it!!!!!
And remember this increase in spending came at a time of an extremely hot economy that saw a record numbers of people entering the workforce.

Do you ever start to question a lot of the bullshit you believe to be facts?
I was obviously talking about the welfare reform of ‘96 and replacing AFDC with the much more restrictive TANF. By the end of Clinton’s presidency the number of beneficiaries of direct cash assistance welfare was cut by over half.
You know, the program that Reagan race baited about the welfare queen popping out babies to receive government assistance.
Increasing Medicare and Medicaid was about the only good thing that came out of the Clinton presidency, but it’s not the welfare you conservatives always talk about replacing the “black father with the state”. -
So they "gutted" Welfare by spending more money on it. If the people who no longer received direct cash benefits were now working does that count as "gutting" welfare?
I didn't "misinterpret" anything. You talked out your fucking ass. Unless the goal of welfare is to create a permanent dependent class, and if liberals were honest they'd admit that is the goal, Welfare was "gutted" by spending more money on it and transitioning many of the people on it, into the work force.

Rep. Liz Cheney (Wyo.), the third-ranking House Republican, called Tuesday for King to “find another line of work,” a day after GOP leaders moved to punish King by stripping him of his committee assignments and King earned a rebuke from Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-Ky.).
House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy (R-Calif.) condemned King’s comments but stopped short of calling for his resignation. “I think that’s up to Steve King,” he said.

Can you find for me examples of where sitting Rat Congressmen condemn the other Rats who meet with and praise Farrakhan? How about the Rats who condemn the people who suck up to Sharpton? Anyone criticize Obama for spending 20 years in a black nationalist church.2001400ex said:Rep. Unlike the Rats, the GOP doesn't tolerate racists and bigots in their ranks. In the Rat party, they become honored elder statesmen in your party. -
And that’s why King will have to settle for 9 terms.SFGbob said:

That's between him and his voters. He has been stripped of any position of power within his party. What's Maxine Waters position these days?HHusky said:
