Yella and doog-bot took two of my considerations. My dad's fren had a body/paint business and had that GT 500 in his home shop for about a year. I sat in it a lot and even got to start it once. Cool story bro.
The 67 Vette with the 427 was the best Vette by a mile. It could come in a 435hp version with three 2-barrels iirc. Bad ass. The 427 was the best production muscle motor that both Ford and Chevy made.
I'm a mopar guy, however. No way I can pick a favorite. I really like the six- pack versions of both the 340 and 440. I'd lean toward a TA Challenger 340 6 pack
Or maybe the fastest (1/4 mile) all stock Mopar made...
My Dad had some sweet ones in my teen years...a 70 RT Charger in lime green with a 440, a 68 Road Runner 440 which he built with a dual 4 barrel manifold among other things (ran low 12s with street tires), and his last, and my favorite, a 69 Dart GT 440 (original 383 car but that's boring and he had multiple 440s sitting around).
I could go on and on. I really miss muscle cars.

One of my two dads has had dozens of old Mopars. Currently has a 1970 Challenger T/A w/shaker hood. Had a 1969 R/T w/440 6-pack, a couple 1970 R/T's w/440's, other Challengers, Demons, etc in the past. Cool story, bro. Also has an 87 Buick Grand National.
I can't pick one, so I would take any of these.

That is a cool story, bro. For real. Some serious $$ value therethat I bet your dads would like to have back now.BleachedAnusDawg said:One of my two dads has had dozens of old Mopars. Dad had a couple of hemi cars when I was young or not quite born...a Sport Fury (65, I think) and a 69 GTX. He'd almost cry when the GTX came up. I think that was his favorite ever and he sold it for a song when my youngersister was born and money got tight. -

You fags need some culture. Two picks here, one for cruising with @Doog_de_Jour and the other for surviving the end of the world.
34 Ford Special Speedster. Coolest art deco hot rod ever made by American hands.
If the apocalypse is happening, I choose a 1949 Willy's Pickup with a hemi. Fist full of Fuck Yeah!
