The Rats were more than happy to falsely charge a man with rape in order to derail his confirmation. And that was just replacing a moderate Republicans with another moderate/right Republican. Think what happens when they are faced with the prospect of having a hard leftist like Ruthie G. replaced with a conservative.

If he does get to appoint Ruthie's replacement within the next 10 months, Clarence Thomas should step down and let Trump have a 4th nominee putting a much younger Conservative on the Bench.
