Withholding valid sex ed in favor of abstinence only sex ed and not providing easy access to birth control is a curious way to accomplish this.USMChawk said:
You can interpret that your way or you can interpret it to mean, teach people to have sex without having kids. That’s how I interpreted it.2001400ex said:

I’m for teaching people not to fuck and have kids they can’t support. And to get married if you want kids . And having two parents raise the kids. My idea is to hammer that in schools and in the communities

BTW I know exactly what you meant but it's funny to watch you get pissed at what you do in a daily basis. -

So you really believe that people having kids out of wedlock are doing so because they don't know where babies come from and they don't have easy access to birth control?dflea said:

Explain to me how you could of had out of wedlock birth rates that were just a tiny fraction of what they are today back in the 1950s when few schools even taught sex ed of any kind and access to birth control was much more restricted than it is today? Where is it in America today that people don't have easy access to birth control? -
Where did I advocate for that? My girls both took health (sex Ed) in HS and we (their parents) also discussed it with them. Shockingly, we are heavily involved in their upbringing and they are good kids who will be productive citizens. It’s a foreign concept, I know.dflea said:

The GOP are champions of abstinence only sex ed. It's fucking stupid, but it seems to be ok to accept idiocy from the GOP around here while the Dems idiocy is grounds for declaring a national emergency.
I tip my hat to you for being engaged with your kids' upbringing. They're already ahead of the game because of that.
PS - Fuck off, Gaybob. I wasn't fucking talking to you. -

The poster child for liberal nonsense. It is a liberals right to never be taught common sense, decency, facts of success and personal responsibility but it everyone else's responsibility to pay for the libs who want to fail using their own made up "values to guide their life".
An interesting opinion coming from a liberal who's party espouses teaching liberally revised history, having cross dressing men read to grade school children, forcing feeding children the idea that transsexuals are normal and blocking Conservatives from having a voice on campuses all across the country. -
Because MOST kids don't belong on college campuses, as we can plainly see everyday. MOST kids need job skills and job training, not to be endlessly pondering what future trauma Jack will endure after he switches his anatomy to Jill.allpurpleallgold said:If it’s all about giving kids the best chance for success why aren’t we paying for them to go to college?

You'll notice that CD who claims he is against free loaders and people who can't hack it in today's economy never has anything to say against these people who believe that government should set some kind of "living wage" that businesses must pay.Sledog said:
Living wage? My question for you Marxists is how much of your current income did you donate to give others a living wage? I'll bet it's zero. Given your beliefs a small apartment in a shitty neighborhood is all you need. If you are living above that downsize and give it away. It's what you want. You just expect everyone else to pay for it.allpurpleallgold said:You know what would have been meaningful to him? His mother not having to work two jobs because neither would pay her a living wage.
