Insinceredawg was for troop withdrawal up until Trump was. Now he’s pro military. Good to know. Shill...

What's funny is watching people try to paint that hypocrisy on people who disagree with Trump. You can be for the withdrawal of troops in Iraq and for keeping troops in Syria. It's almost like there's different fact patterns in each instance.greenblood said:Insinceredawg was for troop withdrawal up until Trump was. Now he’s pro military. Good to know. Shill...
But if you want to do Simple mind syndrome. How many people screamed about Obama pulling troops from Iraq but wanting troops pulled now? -

You can be for Iraq troop withdrawal because Obama did it and against Syria troop withdrawal because trump is doing it.
Bottom line is it’s 100% partasin. No one gives a shit until it’s the other party making the decision then they automatically take the other side. Pelosi and Schumer would never in a million years publically criticize Obama if he did this. And the facts bear that out.
Democrats happily voted to fund physical boarder security many times in the past 20 years. Into the multi billions. And they thought it was a good idea and no one even questioned it. Now it’s so racist and immoral that they can’t possibly vote for it. What they can’t do is give Trump a win on a campaign promise. Same with troops in the Middle East.
And before you shit your panties, I can find examples of when Republicans did the same thing with Obama. -
Your last sentence is the exact point. Both sides do it. So I always chuckle when the first response on this thread is whining about hypocrisy.MikeDamone said:

Again your border wall. Democrat politicians are not saying we don't need border security. They are saying that building the wall is not an effective use of money. BTW. Republican politicians are saying the exact same thing or else they would have passed funding the last 2 years. The only reason Republicans in the house voted for it is because they knew it wouldn't pass the Senate and they wanted to point the finger at Democrats. -
Fuck the middle East. Let them all die in their shitholes.

Trump is doing what is said he would do during his campaign and May this year.

Exactly.. And a lot of simple minded conservatives agree with him.Dude61 said:Trump is doing what is said he would do during his campaign and May this year.

Fuck off you god damn idiot. “My” border wall. You’re such a fucking partisan hack you can’t wrap your head around the possibility that someone can’t be. Where did I say I wanted a wall? I said that many many times demcrats enthusiastically voted for physical boarder security. They piss away more money every day on stupid shit, so it’s not a money issue. It’s 100% a trump issue. Stop being a fuck head. The Senate needs 60 votes to pass it. So it isn’t up to senate Republicans.2001400ex said:

I've always been of the belief that we're waisting time over there and have been partial to views expressed that the region is too tribal and backwards to hope for any real change. My view on this point is not affected by party. I've been accused of being an establishment Republican, which is probably mostly right, and I still thought W was mistaken in his foreign policy on the Middle East. HWB pretty much blamed his boy's advisors for failing him on this point. I agree with HWB. I guess it's true: I'm an establishment Republican. -
I'm neither here or there on the subject. Trumps the guy that gets to decide.

Aside from protecting Israel because, well, joobs among other things, the Middle East is a clusterfuck. It's been a clusterfuck. It will always be a clusterfuck. It's not quite Vietnam level clusterfuck on the US part - but it could be.creepycoug said:

If GTFO out of there causes them all to implode on one another, the Throbber is fine with that. We? are good with our oil production and could probably be energy self-sufficient if we? weren't so driven by capitalism - keeping the Saudis in the game provides a hedge against the other fucks in OPEC and Russia jacking prices. If it wasn't for the black gold, we'd? give exactly the same amount of fucks as the civil wars in Somalia, Borundi, Cameroon, Mali or any other tribal war states. Zero fucks at all.
We've been in ME conflicts essentially since 1990 - maybe 1976 if count the Ayatollah and secret CIA/Iran-Iraq shit. A3040 year war is dumb. Christ, we? knocked Hitler, Mussolini and Tojo out in less than 5 years.

Well you said only Democrats use the nuclear option and I see nothing wrong with it. Ok! Wrong on both accounts. But, as usual, you are missing the larger point that I'm making. Here I'll type slowly so maybe you understand. The Republicans have used the nuclear option and can use it on this issue. They haven't used it. The question is why? I mean, why shut down the government when they can pass it with their 51 votes? Reason is, they don't truly want to build the wall because they know it's not a good use of funds.MikeDamone said:

And before you shit your panties, I can find examples of when Republicans did the same thing with Obama.
That being said, no they don't need 60 votes. They have invoked the nuclear option for other things They could do the same on this issue. Are you that ignorant?
Seems like democrats are the only ones who have such little regard for governing in a bi partisan way that the nuclear option would be used. Of course, you see nothing wrong with using it. Hack.

What's funny is watching people try to paint that hypocrisy on people who disagree with Trump. You can be for the withdrawal of troops in Iraq and for keeping troops in Syria. But if you want to do Simple mind syndrome. How many people screamed about Obama pulling troops from Iraq but wanting troops pulled now?
You can be for Iraq troop withdrawal because Obama did it and against Syria troop withdrawal because trump is doing it.
Bottom line is it’s 100% partasin. No one gives a shit until it’s the other party making the decision then they automatically take the other side. Pelosi and Schumer would never in a million years publically criticize Obama if he did this. And the facts bear that out.

Ok...maybe the gazillion Soviet deaths helped but USA! USA! USA!.
What would the throbber do? -
Actually - that’s not entirely true. Cute girls hang at gay bars so they can dance with dudes who are good dancers.

"We have rules to follow. I want to put a stop to this practice of the Senate breaking its rules to change its rules. I will not vote to turn the Senate into a rule-breaking institution and I hope that my colleagues will not."
McConnell said in May 2017 that triggering the "nuclear option" in order to pass legislation was "not going to happen" because doing so would fundamentally change how the Senate operates.
