My favorite part about this thread is now when @AF9705 offers baseless accusations that he considers fact. A few people on the ND board think it’s funny UW fans are annoyed a kid who was publicly committed for six months doesn’t sign with them and then all of a sudden that somehow becomes a “national” meltdown.

Funny. I went to IUSM (medical school) after military service & UW is not known for medical school. They are known for Public Health & Dentistry though. One of my colleagues is a pioneer in the field of Public Health Dentistry & is a UW academic legend.

Let's not bring BYU into this. They are much more international then Notre Dame. Notre Dame is a college that happens to be catholic. BYU is the official school of The LDS church. With International campuses in Hawaii and Idaho. So yes literally every mormon in the world knows about it.

Personally, I would love to see commitments from Heimuli, Tootoo, Ford and Martinez, and Turner aced out due to lack of room.

I think you're missing my point. I would love to have Turner. I would just love to have the above four players more. I think we are already in a very decent place going forward with safeties and think the magic number this year is 24. If you get those four which I admit is a bit of a longshot then I'm not sure there is room for Asa. I certainly would rather get Heimuli, Henry and Ford. I guess you could call it a bit of a tossup between Asa and Martinez if it came down to the last scholie.
What is the probability that this kid, after being committed for so long, doesn't sign in the early period because he has second thoughts and then in the end signs with UW?
