Best, because when you spot a "Good Texas Team!" 220 yds. in almost exclusivelyl personal foul/unsportsman-like conduct penalties, in the Cotton Bowl no less, and still keep them to a field goal while laying 40 something on them, is a good day if you're a real Cane.
Worst, because the beginning of the end was starting to show itself. It was clear that Dennis had no real command over that team, and they were starting to become the undisciplined mess they'd wind up being before he left for the Seahawks. The honeymoon was when he showed up and had a Jimmy Johnson team and added his offensive mind to what was already there.
As you know very well, Erickson has his talents, but he wears out his welcome eventually. Players like him, but they don't really respect him. I think they were always able to realize he was about as mature as they were.
What if Oklahomo does this instead of horns down?
